Description
*Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department
*Implement efficient distribution strategies to manage VAS distribution
*Drive process excellence and develop efficient ways of working in a complex distribution environment
*Monitor and manage inventory control
*Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
*Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement measures
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients
*Prepare and manage the logistics department’s budget
Profile
A successful Distribution Manager should have:
*A proven track record in managing complex warehousing and distribution processes
*Proven experience in a managerial role within a logistics operation
*Strong knowledge of supply chain and distribution processes
*Excellent leadership and organisational skills
*A proven track record within high volume
*Must be commutable to Wakefield
