Our client are a highly sought after Top 25 firm and one of the fastest growing accountancy firms in the UK, currently seeking an Audit Semi-Senior to join their growing team in their Reading office.

About the Role
As an Audit Semi-Senior working within their Reading office, you will be assisting the partners and associate partners in the management and delivery of statutory audit and accounts preparation services for our Owner Managed Business Client portfolio. There will be a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including;
*Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, assessing and reviewing the budgets through to completing an analytical review
*Delivering information to clients in a timely manner whilst displaying client and industry knowledge
*Monitoring stock takes, managing bank letter processes and completing AFF (Assignment Feedback Forms) where appropriate
*Communicating to management on the progress of workload and planning for efficient completion
The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey. With access to a wide range of knowledge to help push yourself further - from Managers to Partners, the team are always happy to support you.

As an Audit Semi-Senior, you will be great at relationship building as you will you work closely with the manager and client.

*Studying towards their ACA or ACCA qualification and either within their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of a trainee or apprenticeship contract
*Experience working in a practice environment working with Privately Owned Businesses or a mixed portfolio
*Experience planning and completing audits as well as account preparation
*Experience using an analytical review process
