Job Description:
Year 5 Class Teacher
*Leeds Primary School
*January 2025 - June/July 2025
*Full-time contract (maternity cover)
*Teachers must have 3+ years of experience and must have completed ECT
NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a Primary school in Leeds, Horsforth (LS18) who are looking for a KS2 Primary Teacher for a Year 5 class to cover a maternity from January 2025 - June/July 2025. There could also be the possibility of a contract after this period.
KS2 Primary Teacher roles and Responsibilities:
*Implement engaging and effective lessons for the children that are aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing behaviour, promoting respect, ensuring the safety of all students and differentiating the deliverance of the learning.
*Evaluate pupil progress through various assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey, both to the pupil, other staff and have good clear and concise communication with parents/carers.
KS2 Primary Teacher Non-Negotiables:
*Must have recent and relevant teaching experience in Education.
*Must hold a PGCE and/or equivalent Teaching Qualification valid for teaching in the UK with QTS.
*Strong subject knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum, particularly in KS2.
*Must have a valid DBS or be prepared to apply for a new and updated one.
*Full-time availability and able to provide 2 professional references.
*Must have completed ECT years.
