Business Development/Sales- Leading Financial Advisory Firm
I am working with a leading Financial Advisory firm looking for a Senior Business Development candidate to join their team in London. While specific industry experience is not essential, a strong background in B2B sales is a must for this role.
While primarily based in our London office, you will collaborate closely with their teams in US. This B2B role focuses on growing our fund client base in a sustainable and efficient manner, working in tandem with other members of the sales team.
Your responsibilities will include lead sourcing and conducting research to identify suitable fund managers for our services. You will introduce new fund managers to the company through various channels, including cold-calling, prospecting, marketing and email campaigns, attending conferences, and leveraging referrals from industry contacts and current clients. You will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of all interactions with potential clients within their CRM system, ensuring an up-to-date record of sales pipelines and prospects for accurate forecasting.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of demonstrable experience in B2B sales, with a track record of completed structured sales training in a previous role. A self-starting attitude and aptitude for cold outreach to originate new pipeline opportunities are essential. Strong written and organisational skills, coupled with excellent attention to detail, are crucial for success in this position.
