Job Description:
We’re currently seeking a passionate and experienced ESG Manager to join a growing team on an interim basis.
Do you have a deep understanding of ESG principles and a proven track record of driving sustainable change?
You’ll be a key player in shaping our ESG strategy, ensuring commitment to environmental, social, and governance excellence.
What will you be doing:
*Shape ESG Vision: Develop and implement environmental, social, and corporate governance strategy, policies, and procedures.
*Identify and Manage ESG Risks and Opportunities: Proactively identify and assess ESG-related risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies and maximising positive impact.
*Lead ESG Reporting & Measurement: Implement common sustainability and ESG reporting standards, prepare reports, and monitor key performance indicators.
*Drive ESG Integration: Integrate ESG considerations into our internal documentation, financial reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
*Build a Sustainable Future: Develop and deliver ESG-specific training programs and respond to requests from authorities and stakeholders.
*Collaborate for Success: Work closely with legal, compliance, and other teams to ensure effective implementation and alignment.
What you’ll need:
*ESG Expertise: Experience as an ESG Manager in a multinational organisation, preferably with an industrial or manufacturing sector.
*Influencing change: Experience with the implementation of processes, systems or procedures that have helped influence shifts in efficiency’s and positive change
*Global Standards & Methodologies: Profound knowledge of international ESG standards, such as CSRD, SECR, EU taxonomy, and methodologies like GHG Protocol.
*Collaborative Mindset: A hands-on approach and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a global team.
The Role:
*Remote based position with occasional travel to Europe
*Day Rate £264
*28 days holiday rising to 33 days after 12 weeks (inclusive of bank holidays)
*6 month contract with possible extension
