Job Description:
Cedar is currently partnering with a leading consumer business to recruit an Interim Group Reporting Manager. Based in central London, this is an initial 6-month contract, offering a competitive day rate of £600-700.

The Role
As Interim Group Reporting Manager, you will take ownership of the group consolidation and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and delivering high-quality outputs. Key responsibilities include:
*Leading the multi-currency IFRS consolidation and monthly management reporting.
*Managing and mentoring a team of two qualified accountants, driving performance and development.
*Owning the group’s consolidation system and maintaining the relationship with external system support providers.
*Overseeing accounting for group holding companies and preparing statutory reports, including interim and year-end financial statements.
*Acting as the primary contact for external auditors, ensuring smooth audits and addressing queries effectively.
*Providing technical accounting guidance across the group and supporting divisional finance teams.
*Contributing to ad hoc projects, enhancing financial processes and aligning them with best practices.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
*A strong track record in group reporting, including experience with multi-currency consolidations and IFRS.
*Proven leadership capabilities, with the ability to develop and inspire a high-performing team.
*Expertise in technical accounting, statutory reporting, and consolidation systems.
*Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to manage competing priorities.
*Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging with senior stakeholders and external auditors.
Compensation & Benefits
