Job Description:
Teacher of PE
Join a popular school with state-of-the-art facilities as a Teacher of PE. They are seeking a talented and inspirational individual who is a consistently good to outstanding practitioner. This role involves teaching PE up to KS4 and KS5, contributing to a thriving extra-curricular programme, and promoting the enrichment and wellbeing of their students.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons up to KS4 and KS5.
*Contribute to and potentially lead aspects of the school’s extensive extra-curricular sports programme.
*Utilise and maintain excellent resources including a full-size 3G football pitch, sixty station fitness suite, cricket nets, and floodlit tennis/netball courts.
*Inspire and mentor students, fostering their skills in sports as well as their personal development.
*Collaborate with a well-established PE team to enhance the curriculum and sports offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Physical Education or related field.
*Proven track record of good to outstanding teaching practice.
*Ability to teach PE up to KS4 and KS5.
*Strong commitment to extracurricular activities and student wellbeing.
*Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring students.
