SEN TA - Northwest London
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN TA’s to support pupils with complex needs at a dynamic and inclusive SEN school in North West London. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people aged 3-19 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including physical impairments and challenging behaviours
*Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
*Supervising activities and providing support during lessons
*Utilizing EYFS skills to support children’s development
*Assisting with lifting and handling physically impaired pupils
*Using specialised equipment for hoisting
Essential Requirements:
*At least one year of experience working with SEN children in a primary or secondary school setting within the last three years
*Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years
*A valid Manual Handling qualification or willingness to undertake training
Desirable:
*Experience working with non-verbal children
*Experience working with children with sensory needs
The Role:
*Start Date: January 2025
*Location: North West London
*Contract: Initially through an agency, with the potential for a permanent position
*Pay: From £95 to £105 per day
