Senior Manager - Strategic Sourcing & Procurement - Manchester, Sheffield or Woking Area - £70-80K Salary DoE + £6.5k Car Allowance + Annual Bonus + Other Amazing Benefits

Although this senior management role sits atop the UK procurement division of a globally renowned engineering business, we’re not necessarily looking for a candidate from a procurement background. Instead, this role could be ideal for someone with an engineering background within the Oil & Gas or Heavy Industry with a strong level of commercial acumen who understands business strategy.
What You Need to Have
*A strong engineering background, ideally within Oil & Gas or heavy industries.
*Commercial acumen and experience with strategic sourcing or procurement.
*Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire teams.
*A track record of delivering results in complex, high-pressure environments.
*Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and engage at senior levels.
*Experience working in large national or global organizations with a focus on strategic initiatives.
*A degree or equivalent in engineering, business, or a related field. CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.

About the Role
As Senior Manager - Strategic Sourcing, you will lead sourcing strategies across the business unit, aligning with the company’s broader objectives. You’ll manage a small team and oversee key supplier relationships, ensuring operational excellence and maximising value from contracts.
