Job Description:
For over 60 years, Reed’s engineering and manufacturing specialists have been recruiting professionals like you for permanent, temporary and contract positions.We have been instructed to recruit for a new Technical Sales role for a manufacturer in Colchester.
This is a full time permanent position with a competitive salary, experience dependent.
Key Responsibilities:Develop a thorough understanding of dust and fume extraction product range.
Serve as the initial point of contact for customer inquiries.
Drive sales across all product ranges to meet company targets.
Prepare quotes for new units, spare parts, and services.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure comprehensive customer care.
Maintain customer records and manage the CRM system.
Provide technical advice to both existing and potential customers.
Required Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
Essential: Experience in the manufacturing industry.
Desirable: Experience in dust and fume extraction sales (training provided for the right candidate).
Strong sales and customer relationship skills.
Technical aptitude with the ability to grasp complex concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Valid driving license.
Degree-level education or equivalent experience preferred.
