Job Description:
Deputy Manager - Luxury Nursing Home
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Contract: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to assist in commissioning and managing of a brand-new luxury nursing home opening next year in Berkshire. This prestigious care home, with fewer than 50 beds, is designed to offer outstanding care within a thoughtfully designed and luxurious care setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an emerging care provider that is already achieving excellent results and gaining a strong reputation in the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operations of the home, maintaining the highest standards of care.
*Assist in the recruitment, training, and management of the care and support team.
*Help deliver person-centred care tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
*Support marketing efforts to grow occupancy and integrate the home within the local community.
*Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.
*Manage financial performance, including working with budgets and contributing to long-term sustainability.
*Promote team growth through effective delegation and mentorship.
Requirements:
*RN qualification desirable / Level 5 Diploma in Management (or equivalent).
*Proven experience in a leadership role within the care or nursing home sector.
*Demonstrated success in achieving good or outstanding CQC inspection ratings.
*Private care sector experience.
*Comprehensive understanding of regulations and legislation governing care homes.
*An engaging, positive leadership style that fosters team collaboration and high standards of care.
