Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist with acute experience to join the multidisciplinary team at Aintree University Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in acute medical and surgical settings, supporting their recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities *Assess and deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions for patients in acute care.
*Manage a caseload of complex patients, maintaining high standards of care.
*Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement rehabilitation plans.
*Provide guidance and support to junior staff and students.
*Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements *Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
*HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
*Proven experience in acute medical or surgical settings.
*Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills.
*Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
