IT Support Engineer (Contractor)

Location: Birmingham (Educational School Setting)
Duration: 6 Weeks Initially
Start Date: ASAP

We’re seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a vibrant educational environment in Birmingham. This is a 6-week contract with the potential for extension, requiring someone who can hit the ground running and provide exceptional IT support.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards for ICT services and facilities.
*Provide maintenance, installation, and technical support on-site.
*Offer technical and software assistance during lessons to support teaching and learning.
*Deliver training sessions for both staff and students to enhance IT skills and knowledge.
*Collaborate with the Network Manager to develop and improve the ICT infrastructure.
*Teach the basics of software programmes to users as needed.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in IT support, ideally within an educational or similar environment.
*Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
*Ability to deliver training sessions and technical guidance effectively.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*A proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
