Job Description:
Overview:
We seek a highly organised and efficient individual to join our dynamic team in London as an Assistant Property. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our residential properties, delivering exceptional service to tenants and residents.
Responsibilities:
*Assist the Property/Block Manager with all aspects of property management, including: *Tenant/resident liaison: responding to enquiries, managing repairs and maintenance requests, handling complaints, and enforcing lease agreements.
*Property maintenance: coordinating building inspections, arranging contractor quotes and scheduling repairs, ensuring common areas are clean and well-maintained.
*Financial administration: processing invoices, collecting service charges, maintaining accurate records, and preparing financial reports.
*Lease administration: preparing and issuing new leases, managing renewals, and conducting move-in/move-out inspections.
*Health and safety: assisting with fire risk assessments, ensuring fire safety equipment is operational, and reporting accidents and incidents.
*IT systems: maintaining accurate data in property management software, generating reports, and resolving minor IT issues.
*Liaise with contractors, tradespeople, and other service providers to guarantee timely and high-quality service.
*Attend resident meetings and take minutes.
*Maintain a professional and positive demeanour while providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
*Proven experience in property management (preferably residential), ideally in London.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents from diverse backgrounds.
*Strong organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (preferred).
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
