Regulatory Reporting Data Specialist - Associate

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Regulatory Reporting Data Specialist t o join our Finance Professional Services Centre team. This role is located in Manchester.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: *Reporting - responsible for the production of high quality regulatory returns, analytics and MI in a timely fashion, ensuring that the EMEA region meets reporting deadlines and quality expectations. The focus of the role will be the Anacredit return, a dataset containing detailed information on individual bank loans in the euro area, harmonised across all Member States. AnaCredit" stands for analytical credit datasets which is required on a monthly basis by the European Central Bank. The role involves close collaboration with the Regulatory Reporting Senior Specialist, who will be responsible for the review of the return..
*Stakeholder management - Develop close relationships with European Bank Market Centre report owner and other business areas particularly Regulatory Change and Controllers.
*Oversight & Controls - Ensure all reports are produced in an effective operational control environment with well-evidenced reviews, checklists, variance analysis, reconciliations and procedures. Reporting results and MI in a timely fashion, ensuring that you meet reporting deadlines and quality expectations.
*Knowledge - Stay abreast of legislative, accounting and regulatory developments, as well as knowledge of external reporting requirements and procedures.
*Assurance - Involvement with internal and external assurance activities, provide deliverable requests, walkthroughs and respond to queries within a timely manner.
*Change - Assist with the provision of regulatory support for relevant projects including new regulatory reporting production requirements and regulatory system improvements, new business and product launches. Perform other functions as required from time-to-time.
*Other - Ensure the operational process are optimised to drive efficient, effective and risk managed outputs.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: *Part Qualified Accountant with AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA part accreditation or equivalent
*Regulatory Reporting experience desirable, including regulatory and accounting systems and processes.
*Experience of working with large, complex datasets to produce high quality, well controlled outputs is essential
*Organized and structured working methodology, attention to detail and highly motivated personal with a logical and inquisitive mind set.
*Excellent stakeholder management skills, including communication, planning and escalation.
*Experience of a fast moving, deadline focused, highly controlled, multi-national / functional organization.
