****MUST be able to drive (and own a vehicle) as will be based on site, at various sites. Will need to drive around L1 postcode and occasionally to Ellesmere Port****
2nd Line Support, L2 Engineer, Networking, Windows/ Microsoft, Server, Server Builds & Migrations, Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) , VLAN. Any experience within the Educational sector or MSP would be desirable.
An IT company are looking for a 2nd line Support Engineer to provide technical support (Windows/ Networking/ Server/ VLAN) and assistance to end-users for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues. Mostly for Educational (schools & academies) institutions.
You will be driving to various sites daily across Liverpool and Ellesmere Port.
The position requires the individual to be willing to do anything between1st-3rd line support as part of the day to day as it won’t always be the high level jobs you are required for.
Responsibilities:
*2nd Line Duties
*Windows Server
*O365
*Networking duties (LAN/ VLAN)
*Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
*Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
*Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security patches.
*Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions promptly.
*Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
*Respond to IT support tickets and service requests
