The Role
As a Warehouse Planner, you’ll play a vital role in the operation, ensuring that space and resources are utilised effectively to meet demand. Key responsibilities include:
*Capacity Management: Accurately forecast warehouse space requirements, ensuring efficient utilisation of facilities.
*Planning & Optimisation: Develop and implement strategies to maximise storage capacity and streamline operations.
*Data-Driven Decisions: Analyse historical data, trends, and incoming volumes to anticipate future requirements.
*Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and inventory teams to align plans with the business’s needs.
*Problem Solving: Proactively address capacity challenges to avoid disruptions to service.
*Reporting: Provide clear, actionable reports to stakeholders, offering insights into capacity and operational performance.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional with:
*Experience: A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain (specifically as a Warehouse Planner).
*Analytical Skills: Confidence in using data to forecast and plan effectively.
*Technical Know-How: Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with planning or inventory management software.
