Job Description:
Title: Experienced Project Engineer Wanted for 6-9 Months Contract in Loughborough
Introduction:
We are currently seeking an experienced project engineer to join our client’s team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be working within the chemical sector, specifically with COMAH site experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
COMAH Site Experience:
The ideal candidate must have prior experience of working at a COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) site. This is essential due to the nature of this role which requires individuals capable of handling hazardous materials safely.
Solid Engineering Background:
Candidates should possess excellent engineering knowledge (mechanical or electrical) backed up by relevant qualifications or hands-on industry experiences that demonstrate their expertise in delivering high-quality projects from start-to-finish effectively.
On-Site Work
This position entails being present on-site regularly, therefore candidates who can commute easily or reside nearby would be preferred.
Occasional Weekend Availability:
As part of this job requirement occasionally some weekend work may need completing; hence flexibility towards occasional weekends is required.
Responsibilities:
As a project engineer, you’ll lead technical teams through all stages such as design development and implementation process efficiently ensuring every aspect runs smoothly without any setbacks while also liaising closely with clients throughout each phase until completion successfully. You will need to be an efficient self starter who can problem solve and work both as an individual and as part of a team.
Rate & Duration:
Our client values your skills highly enough to offer £400 per day all in rate making it worth considering if looking for new challenges! It’s important that applicants understand beforehand about duration since contracts last between six-nine months allowing time frame planning accordingly.
Conclusion:
Our client wants someone confident but approachable - able not only deliver results quickly but communicate well too during those times when things don’t go according plan - so bring both personality traits along because they’re necessary attributes we value just much skillset here today
