In this role, you will be building and maintaining new and existing supplier relationships, sourcing materials across the UK, whilst providing stakeholders with supplier performance reports.
Other Duties Include:
*Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms and conditions.
*Maintaining of purchasing contracts, purchasing price, agreements, and terms
*Forecasting stock level and make orders accordingly.
*Tracking order delivery status and review and apply the customs clearance documents
*Communicating with suppliers, and internal sales team regarding product delivery status, product quality problems, product sales status
*Assisting to improve the product specification
*Any ad-hoc tasks assign by line manager
Your Background & Skill:
*Experience as a Buyer/Purchasing Manager, within a manufacturing company is essential.
*Proven negotiations skills to secure discounts whilst maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Proficient in MS Office.
*Planning, prioritising and organisational skills.
*Data analysis, communication and negotiation skills.
