Job Description:
Our client, an established, high growth PE backed software business, is looking to recruit a Transformation Project Manager for a 6 month contract.
This role would involve both strategic oversight and tactical execution to ensure these transformation initiatives are successfully delivered, with a strong focus on data accuracy, efficiency, and project profitability.
Role: CRM Transformation Project Manager
Location: West Berkshire
Duration: 6 months+
Remuneration: up to £100K pro rata on a fixed term contract
Key Responsibilities:
*HubSpot Implementation: *Lead the end-to-end implementation of HubSpot across the organization.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, IT) to ensure smooth integration and adoption.
*Define and document processes for CRM utilization, ensuring the alignment of HubSpot with organizational goals.
*Revenue Recognition Data Sets: *Oversee the design and implementation of systems for accurate revenue recognition, aligning with financial reporting standards.
*Develop and monitor data pipelines to ensure real-time access to revenue data.
*Coordinate with finance teams to ensure proper handling of complex revenue recognition processes (e.g., subscription-based, multi-element arrangements).
*Procurement Optimisation: *Analyse existing procurement processes and identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvement.
*Implement best practices and optimize supplier relationships, ensuring a streamlined procurement lifecycle.
*Develop KPIs to monitor procurement performance and cost control, adjusting strategies as necessary.
*KPI Redevelopment: *Redesign Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for teams, ensuring they align with business objectives and drive growth.
*Implement a dashboard system to track and visualize KPIs across departments (sales, operations, etc.).
*Work closely with leadership to ensure KPIs are actionable and foster performance improvement.
*Project Profitability: *Track project costs and forecast project profitability throughout the lifecycle.
*Analyse the financial health of ongoing projects and suggest corrective actions to improve profitability.
*Manage resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting profitability targets.
Key Skills and Competencies:
*Project Management: Strong experience in managing large-scale transformational projects, particularly in CRM systems and business process optimization.
*Financial Acumen: Understanding of revenue recognition standards, procurement budgeting, and project profitability metrics.
*Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work across various teams (Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance) to align project goals with business strategy.
*Change Management: Experience leading organizational change to ensure smooth implementation of new systems and processes.
*Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to leverage data analytics tools for monitoring performance, optimizing procurement, and tracking project progress.
