Job Opportunity: Service Co-ordinator
Department: Service & After Sales
Location: Leeds (Remote)
Reporting to: Head of Sales & Service
Subordinates: None
Are you a highly organised, customer-focused individual with a passion for ensuring smooth operations in a service-driven environment? We are looking for a Service Co-ordinator to join our team and help drive excellence in service delivery and customer support.
Key Responsibilities: Service Coordination & Planning:
*Schedule and update planning systems for service work.
*Assist customers with inquiries regarding service intervals, team availability, and site arrangements for upcoming jobs.
*Collaborate with the UK’s service division to optimise engineer utilisation.
*Ensure timely submission of engineer reports to customers.
Customer Support & Sales Assistance:
*Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring services comply with all relevant regulations.
*Support Sales Managers in sales efforts and customer interactions as needed.
*Process customer orders/contracts and manage invoicing for completed jobs.
Health, Safety, & Compliance:
*Oversee health and safety requirements for service jobs, including preparation and submission of RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements).
*Ensure compliance with safety standards and manage annual paperwork for sub-suppliers.
*Maintain up-to-date training records and safety certificates for the service team.
*Handle accident reporting, near misses, and investigations.
Supplier & Stock Management:
*Raise orders with approved sub-contractors and monitor performance.
*Keep track of stock levels for necessary warehouse parts for service jobs.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with sub-suppliers.
Training & Resource Management:
*Maintain and manage training records for service engineers and arrange necessary training.
*Coordinate with technical and engineering departments to support service engineers.
Process Improvement & Administration:
*Suggest process improvements to enhance business efficiency.
*Perform general office duties as required.
*Collaborate with the projects department to support service activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: *Previous experience in field service engineer deployment.
*Proficient in IT systems and Microsoft Office.
*Experience in an engineering environment and customer-facing roles.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and compliant service reports.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

*Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
*Flexible and adaptable to change.
*Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
*Ability to motivate others and collaborate with various departments.
Qualifications: *GCSEs or equivalent.
*NVQ or equivalent qualification (preferable).
*HNC or higher qualification in a relevant field (desirable).
