Job Description:
Solar Electrician/Improver required to work around the Gloucester area.
My client is happy to take on a Domestic Improver/electrician if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic electrical work. Solar is more niche and full training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities:
*Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables.
*Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations.
*Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.
*Terminate communication cables (RS485, CAT5, CAT6).
Skills & Qualifications required:
*Training will be provided
*CSCS card or ECS card (of some grading)
*2+ years’ experience
*18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification, not essential
*Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work (solar experience is a bonus).
*Full UK driving license.
