Job Description:
Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 per annum
Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid

*Oversee the end-to-end process of managing key tenders, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly. Defining needs, designing evaluation methods, assessing bids, awarding contracts, and supervising procurement teams
*Ensure spending on goods and services with government requirements
*Play a role in delivering strategic initiatives by contributing to and leading project boards and teams as required
*Offer guidance to project managers on procurement and contract matters, assisting with planning, negotiations, evaluations, and successful project execution
*Update and enforce the organisation’s commercial policies, terms and operational guidelines
*Ensure health, safety, and security are maintained in procurement activities while identifying and managing risks within the organisation’s framework
Requirements:
*Knowledge and experience of public sector regulations and PCR15
*Previous experience in a similar role
*Hold an MCIPS qualification or working towards MCIPS
