iMultiply is partnering with Ashton McGill to recruit an Account Manager to their growing team.

Ashton McGill work exclusively on a retainer basis with each of their 200+ clients. This allows them to work closely with every client, meeting at least on a monthly or quarterly cadence to develop a deeper understanding of them & their business. At the heart of each client relationship is a unique performance report, through which the Ashton McGill team are able to provide business owners with data-driven insights on the performance of their business. These reports are followed up with a performance review meeting in which the Account Manager digs further into the business and lends their expertise on key business decisions and driving improvements.
Although the majority of Ashton McGill’s revenue relates the performance reporting & review meetings, they do offer the full suite of compliance services you’d expect of an accounting business such as Payroll, VAT, and statutory accounts. They strive to deliver these services in a customer-centric way, taking stress away from the busy business owner.
Role Responsibilities:
*Ongoing nurturing, management and development of client relationships
*Production and review of monthly and quarterly performance reports for clients.
*Review of annual statutory accounts
*Providing analysis and advice to clients to assist in key decision making
*Leading monthly and quarterly performance review meetings
*Leading ad-hoc project work such as forecasting, raising finance & other commercial work
*Coaching and developing junior team members
*Delivering tailored advice to your clients
*Providing insightful commentary on actuals compared to budgets/forecasts
*Identifying new business opportunities
*Keeping up to date with new system features.
Preferred Candidate
You will be a Qualified or Qualified by experience candidate with experience from Practice or Industry. The ideal candidate with have experience in preparing management accounts and have worked with small to medium-sized businesses. The Firm is passionate about using technology to get the best results for their clients - you should be someone who embraces this and looks for ways to maximise their impact on client deliverables. Perhaps you are currently working for a traditional accountancy firm but feel frustrated that you’re not really getting to help your clients. Perhaps you are using outdated technology from the last decade. Is the culture a bit too stuffy for you? Is the hierarchy of your firm stifling your career progression? Feel like you’re only scratching the surface of what you’d like to achieve? Requirements:
*Qualified accountant, or QBE
*Experience gained in practice or industry
*Be naturally curious, especially about business
*Be committed to truly understanding our clients business and providing them with financial clarity on their journey
