Job Title: Senior Project Surveyor / Employer’s Agent

Salary: £44,000 - £55,000 per annum

About Us:
Oxbury is a professional practice of Chartered Surveyors recruiting for an experienced Project Surveyor / Employer’s Agent, with a strong project management background across a range of sectors, to deliver Project Management and Employer’s Agent Services to a wide range of private and public sector clients. The role will be based in Chelmsford.
About the role:
The role will include providing services on a range of exciting and innovative projects including zero carbon, Passivhaus and modular construction residential and commercial schemes. Working with both the residential and commercial teams, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of several projects. This includes responsibility for project delivery, achieving targets, resolving issues with clients and invoicing. You’ll work as part of an Associate Director-led team with appropriate administrative and technical support and you’ll be responsible for assisting with training and supervising more junior members of the team.

About you:
*You’ll need to have a Construction Management or Quantity Surveying degree or post-graduate qualification, or other relevant RICS/CIOB accredited degree, and ideally you’ll be MRICS qualified or hold another relevant professional qualification.
*You’ll have significant experience in the role of a Construction Project Manager or Employer’s Agent with a private practice or consultancy; and be able to demonstrate your skills in traditional, design and build and contract administration.
*You’ll have experience in the commercial / industrial and residential sectors and if you’ve worked in other sectors that would be a bonus.
*If you are also professional, diplomatic and client focussed then you could be just who we are looking for
