As a Nursery Practitioner, you will provide essential support to individuals in need, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
The ideal candidate will be competent in the following tasks:
*Provide care, encouragement, and support to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and engaged throughout their day.
*Assist in planning and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, creating a fun, stimulating, and educational environment.
*Help children with social and physical development through play and learning activities.
*Ensure the nursery space is safe, clean, and well-organized, adhering to health and safety regulations.
*Work closely with other staff members to monitor the progress and well-being of each child.
*Communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and address any concerns or questions.
*Support children with daily activities, such as feeding, dressing, and toileting.
*Encourage children to develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
Skills:
*Genuine love for working with young children.
*Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
*Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to plan age-appropriate activities.
*Patience, creativity, and empathy when working with children of diverse backgrounds.
*A good sense of humour and positive attitude when working in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
*Ability to work as part of a team, while also being proactive and independent in daily tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
*Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
*Lived experience working with children, either in a formal or informal setting.
*Right to work in the UK.
*Willingness to complete nursery-specific training programs.
*Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
*Ability to work under pressure while keeping a positive outlook.
