Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEND Provision Support)
Location: Liverpool
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm will be offered to the right candidate.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our SEND provision team within the primary school. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with special educational needs and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities for students with SEND.
* Provide one-on-one and group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
* Support the classroom teacher in managing the learning environment and implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
* Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
* Monitor and record students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Assist with personal care and mobility needs of students as required.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of SEND strategies within the school.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience working with children with SEND is essential.
* Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
*Team Teach Trained desirable.
