Job Description:
Our clients are seeking several Level 3 Practitioners and Room Leaders to work at their nurseries in the Surrey and South- East London areas.
Information:
• Locations: Croydon, Guildford
• Salary ranges: £ 25,000 - £34,000
• Contract: Full time (40 hours a week)
• Start Date: On completion of recruitment process
Your duties as a Nursery Practitioner:
Assisting in the planning, delivery and evaluation of activities that support young children’s learning, development and health ensuring consistency of high-quality provision
Stimulating a learning environment that encourages children to learn and develop through play
Supporting children in their play, planning for children and tracking development via the EYFS
Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the room and fulfilling the personal care needs of the children
Following safeguarding procedures
Work within the regulatory requirements, policies and procedures
Your duties as a Room Leader:
Providing effective leadership
Supporting Staff in the allocated rooms and ensuring adult/child ratios are met
Observing children and managing their learning and development records
To work with EYFS Curriculum and planning exciting age-appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors
Be a key person, complete observations and reports where required.
To build positive relationships parents and Ofsted
Working to nursery policy and procedures in relation to Safeguarding and Health & Safety
Attending staff meetings and training as required
To maintain confidentiality
Applicant requirements:
• A minimum of 1-2 years UK experience
• NVQ Level 3 in childcare or early years
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Fully enhanced DBS
• Up to date CV
• Travelling distance to post code area
• Flexible to be on rota
• Dedicated and committed
