Procurement Category Manager
London, Putney
£45,700 - £62,700pa + 20% Bonus + £7k car allowance
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Category Manager with ideally a strong background in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent budget management skills and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, negotiating supplier contracts, and driving cost efficiencies while ensuring quality and compliance. You must have the ability to work independently, make data-driven decisions, and manage multiple projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage category procurement strategies
Lead supplier negotiations and contract management
Oversee budget performance and cost-saving initiatives
Ensure product quality, supply continuity, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate cross-functionally to meet business objectives
Supplier management
Creating strong business Partnerships
The successful candidate will have a:
Proven experience in procurement, ideally in FMCG
Strong budgeting and financial management skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a fast
Proven track record in using internal systems, MS Offcie package and SAP (Beneficial)
