Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual to join our team at our busy manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes. This role offers the chance to work across multiple areas, from tool making and fabrication to production support and basic maintenance, ensuring no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tool Making: Design, construct, and modify tools and fixtures to meet production requirements. Ensure tools are functioning properly and are available for use when needed.
* Fabrication: Operate machinery and equipment to fabricate parts, components, and products from a range of materials including metal, plastic, and composites.
* Production Support: Work closely with the production team to assist with the setup and maintenance of production lines, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
* Basic Maintenance: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation and reduce downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and carry out basic repairs.
* Facilities Management: Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized working environment. Assist with the upkeep of the building and surrounding areas, including basic repairs and cleaning.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies and procedures, identifying potential hazards and contributing to a safe working environment.
* Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring that all items are well-maintained and readily available for production.
* Quality Control: Inspect parts and materials for quality and adherence to specifications, ensuring that products meet required standards before they proceed to the next stage of production.
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience in tool making, fabrication, production, or maintenance roles.
*Hands-on skills and the ability to operate machinery and power tools.
*Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting would be beneficial.
*Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints.
*Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*A flexible and proactive approach with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Monday to Thursday: 7am to 4pm
