Job Description:
We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 global (re)insurer who offer an innovative range of reinsurance and insurance solutions across a broad spectrum of different risk classes. The Senior Portfolio Manager is similar to an underwriting Assistant or Underwriting Operations Technician role and sits within the wider operations team. You will be providing a range of critical support services for the effective and timely processing of underwriting activity.
This role will suit someone who enjoys a diverse range of duties and responsibilities, multi-tasking and engaging with different stakeholders.
Overview
*Oversee a portfolio of designated accounts.
*Supporting underwriters with technical administrative activities related to the underwriting process.
*Responsibility for various aspects of the administration of insurance and/or reinsurance accounts and contracts.
*This includes establishing and maintaining T&C’s and contractual data.
*Accurately entering risk information for agreement by underwriters.
*Processing the insurance and/or reinsurance premium & claims bookings.
*Cash flow monitoring and management.
*identify and resolve queries and anomalies.
*Data analytics and reporting.
What you need to show
*Knowledge gained within the global (re)insurance markets
*Experience of working in an Operations, Technical Accounting or an Underwriting Assistant role.
*Strong analytical skills
*Ability to collaborate with internal & external stakeholders
*Familiarity with Business Objects / Power BI / Tableau / Excel is beneficial

*Salary From £45,000 to £55,000
*Plus £5,000 contract completion bonus
