Data Engineer | £55,000-£65,000 | Hybrid | London
My client, a leading global professional services organisation, is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimise data solutions that drive strategic decision-making. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to global digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop scalable data pipelines, manage ETL processes, and ensure high data quality and integrity.
* Optimise data models, implement data governance, and troubleshoot data-related issues while ensuring performance and scalability.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions, document processes, and integrate modern cloud technologies (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks).
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proficiency in Azure Synapse and other cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
* Expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, or C#, and tools like SQL, Alteryx, or Excel.
* Experience with database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle.
* Knowledge of AI, ML, and BI-driven data architectures and solutions.
* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a collaborative mindset.
* Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
