Finance Manager - Boutique Wealth Management Firm
Location: Basildon, Essex (Free Onsite Parking)
Role: Full-Time, Permanent | 3 Days Office-Based, 2 Days Remote
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 neg

What You’ll Do: As our Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
*Overseeing financial operations and compliance with UK accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
*Supporting leadership with financial planning, analysis, and strategic insights.
*Managing client-related financial processes with precision and professionalism.
*Leading projects like general ledger migrations and process improvements.
*Streamlining reporting, automating workflows, and ensuring the integrity of financial data.
What You’ll Bring: We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional with the following skills and experience:
Essential Skills & Behaviours:
*Strong analytical mindset and advanced Excel skills.
*Experience with accounting software like Sage or Xero, including reporting and automation.
*Ability to handle multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*A self-starter attitude with a passion for challenging the status quo and improving processes.
*Integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
Experience & Knowledge:
*ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
*Proven success in finance roles within financial services, wealth management, or a related sector.
*Familiarity with UK GAAP and FCA compliance/reporting (highly desirable).
*Hands-on experience managing end-to-end accounting functions in smaller organisations.
