Job Description:
Role: Autism supported living- Service manager
Location: Woodstock
Hours: 35- 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
Reed community care are proud to be appointed as the Service Provider for a young man in living in his own home just outside Woodstock. We are looking for a strong leader to join the team to manage the service day to day. The service supports 1 service user that has a team of 6 support workers that support the individual 2:1 7 days per week and 1 sleep in overnight in his own home built by family. They will work closely under the registered manager that supports a number of locations.
The Care Manager role:
*Managing and supervising the support workers to work to a high standard. Inc coaching them alongside them on shift.
*Implementing good working practices and a strong role model
*Managing and implementing meal plans. Activity plans and healthy living choices for the client.
*Driving and taking the client out.
*Staff compliance.
*Rota management
*Client’s professional meetings.
*Risk Assessments and support plan updates.
*Medicines and financial checks.
Candidates will need:
*Good organisational skills.
*Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
*Previous management experience.
*Experience working with young adults and autism.
*Wanting to make a difference
*Able to drive
