PROCUREMENT MANAGER - CO PACK / PACKAGING / INGREDIENTS - FAST GROWING FMCG - WEST LONDON/ HYBRID - £45K + 15% BONUS

I’ve partnered with the leading Gut Health brands who are on a massive growth trajectory. They are a fast growing, pioneering and ethical business who take pride in sharing their super healthy range of gut-friendly products with the increasingly health-conscious UK consumer.
To help them on this journey, they are looking for a first-class Procurement Manager who is passionate, creative and ambitious, and can build strong relationships with co-packers, packaging and ingredient supplier to leverage market opportunities. The Ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the UK chilled FMCG supply network and the constraints in chilled dairy production and wont be afraid to be hands on liaising with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for:
*Support the COO in shaping the Procurement strategy and framework fit for our fast growing chilled, ambient & direct to consumer business’.
*Track and report key Supplier KPIs to help facilitate strategic alignment.
*Work closely with the production planning and customer supply teams to maximize customer service and identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
*Work effectively across the business including Product team, to support best in class cross-functional execution of our NPD and expansion into new markets.
*Build a strong working relationship with the rest of the Supply and the Finance teams to ensure full transparency of costs E2E.
*Proactively drive value engineering and cost mitigation strategies; track relevant commodities and have a strong understanding of market drivers within dairy processor sector
*Review and understand wider Supply / Procurement considerations, to anticipate and mitigate key risks.
The Procurement Manager will have:
*Minimum 5+ years of relevant, recent, experience in the procurement of chilled consumer goods across the UK & EU.
*Understanding of Market drivers within the food and packaging environment
*Practical experience of strategic and tactical procurement, in diverse categories
*Previous experience of working with contract manufacturing
