HGV Technician (Ex-Military Mechanic)
48,000-50,000 + Overtime + Progression + Training + Company Benefits

Do you have a background working on HGV’s or Military Vehicle’s with both mechanical and electrical knowledge? Are you looking for a long-term position with one of the leading franchises in the UK, who are known for their staff retention, progression and the opportunity to boost your earnings with overtime?
On offer is the opportunity to work within a large commercial transport maintenance provider who are going through an exciting period of growth. The company are responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of HGV’s and LCV’s for a range of clients including DPD and Jewson’s.
This role will see you responsible for both the mechanical and electrical planned and reactive servicing of a range of HGV fleet vehicles. You will be responsible for PPM, reactive, fault-finding and inspections with any necessary training provided and overtime paid at time and a half.
This role would suit a HGV Technician or someone with a Military background with good mechanical / electrical knowledge looking for a long term role in a tight-knit team for a market-leading company who prioritise their staff and give you the ability to increase your earnings through overtime.
The Role:
*Service, Maintenance and Repair of HGV’s
*PPM, reactive, fault-finding and breakdowns
*Overtime - time & a half
*Hourly rate of £20.60 per hour - 45 hour week
*Alternating shift (6-2:30PM / 1-10:30PM)
The Person:
*HGV Technician or similar
*Background in Mechanical / Electrical maintenance
*Commutable to North London
