Job Description:
My client is a prestigious, well-established law firm located in the heart of Central London seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Property Paralegal to join their busy property team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting solicitors with residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
*Preparing legal documents such as contracts, leases, and transfers
*Conducting property searches and preparing reports
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders
*Managing case files from instruction to completion
*Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm policies
*Providing general administrative support to the property team
The Ideal Candidate:
*Previous experience in a residential property paralegal role (minimum 1-2 years)
*Some commercial property experience would be beneficial but not essential
*Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
*Proficiency in using case management systems
