Broad Core Responsibilities:
*Working closely with the Head of Finance.
*Processing supplier invoices and employee expenses.
*Support payment runs/Bank reconciliations.
*Raising customer invoices/supporting Projects team.
*Credit Control.
*Reviewing invoice coding to ensure accuracy.
*Month end closure, accruals & prepayments, depreciation.
*Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
*Project reporting, Work In Process (WIP), Stock on Hand (SOH)
*Assisting with Cashflow management.
*Support Directors with queries.
Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
*Relevant finance / accountancy experience.
*Experience gained in a project-based business.
*Working knowledge of WIP and SOH.
*Good understanding of accounting concepts and fundamentals.
*Comfortable with accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
*Month end experience.
*Experienced with / assisting with management accounts preparation.
*Happy communicating directly with customers on invoicing / credit control queries.
*Used to working with accounting software, Xero.
*Proficient with MS Office, specifically MS Excel.
*A diligent, efficient and detailed approach.
Ideally:
*Hold an accountancy qualification such as AAT / CIMA or be studying towards.
