Telephone Account Manager *Annual Salary: £24,000 Basic plus commission (OTE £36,000 Year 1)

Day-to-day of the role: *Maintain and develop business with existing and new customers.
*Utilise selling techniques to overcome objections and negotiate prices while adhering to company guidelines.
*Work towards and achieve individual and company sales targets.
*Plan and organise outbound call schedules, ensuring calls are made in accordance with agreed schedules.
*Accept incoming calls in line with identified service levels.
*Develop product knowledge, monitor and report on activities, and provide relevant management information to the product buying teams.
*Offer appropriate alternative products as required.
*Increase customer order value by offering additional products and special offers.
*Input orders received by fax and up-sell on those orders.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Previous experience within a customer service or sales team.
*Good interpersonal and communication skills.
*Flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure.
*Ability to build excellent relationships with both internal and external customers.
*IT literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email.
*Good organisational skills.
