Job Description:
Our client, a leading school is in need of a Head Chef in Wythenshawe, we are searching for an exceptional candidate to join their team. If you are a culinary enthusiast looking to share your love for food with the next generation, this opportunity is perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
*Plan and prepare delectable meals for students, staff, and faculty
*Ensure all meals meet nutritional guidelines and dietary restrictions
*Collaborate with the team to create new and exciting menu options
*Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
*Manage inventory and food ordering
*Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high-quality standards
Team Leadership & Development
*Lead as the academy’s head chef, overseeing all food services.
*Help train, develop, and motivate kitchen and catering staff.
*Promote efficiency, budget awareness, and the academy’s values.
*Maintain a positive, flexible attitude towards teamwork.
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
*Passion for cooking nutritious meals in a fast-paced environment
*Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
*Ability to create menus that appeal to both children and adults
*Excellent leadership and communication skills
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 3pm.
Location: Wythenshawe Manchester
