Job Description:
Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in Enfield? Or do you have a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN, specifically Autism?
Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant for this specialist school who offer education and support for children with Autism. This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic year 2024/2025 and upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent.
The School:
Specialist therapeutic and academic support in welcoming and friendly settings this SEN school in Enfield cater for children and students who have been diagnosed with Autism. Special education programmes offer small class sizes for an individualised approach. All classes are supported by both a teacher and 2 or more teaching assistants. All staff are highly skilled and offered the very best of up-to-date training in an ever-evolving field. Facilities here are state of the art, making teaching easier and learning more accessible.
As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for the below:
*Working with and supporting children with Autism
*Working in cooperation with other TAs and teachers
*Contributing to the setting of targets for children
*Utilising the specialist facilities available
*Communicating with parents/carers
To join us and be successful in this role you will need:
*Previous experience supporting children with ASD
*An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
*Legal right to work in the UK
