This Receptionist job has been made available by Secondary School in Sheffield. The school has a very dedicated workforce that focusses on the educational outcomes of all students and aims to create a learning community that is both supportive and safe in an environment of mutual respect.
Your new role
This school is currently looking for a full-time Receptionist to start as soon as possible. Your time in this role will include:
*Meeting and greeting visitors
*Management of the school phone line
*Responding to emails
*Checking in/out visitors and other stakeholders
*General Admin duties
*Taking in deliveries
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would have:
*Strong IT skills,
*Respect for safeguarding and confidentiality,
*A strong ability to communicate well
*Work as part of a team and as an individual
*Use your own initiative
*Ability to remain calm under pressure
*Maintain attention to detail and be organised, motivated and punctual
We will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum and you will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you don’t already have a DBS on the update service.
