As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and reliability, handling a diverse range of tasks from goods management to customer deliveries.

Location: Birmingham 
Salary: £24,377

Monday to Friday (Full time, permanent) 

Day-to-day of the role:

Goods In:

•    Safely load and unload goods from vehicles.

•    Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods into stock locations efficiently.

•    Ensure received items match purchase order specifications and file accordingly.

•    Manage daily returns administration as required.

Picking & Packing:

•    Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for dispatch according to customer orders.

•    Maintain high standards for packaging and product condition before delivery.

•    Handle delivery notes and update relevant systems.

•    Report consumables and packaging material levels to the Supervisor.

 
Stock Management:

•    Update company systems with product details and stock information for accurate reporting.

•    Support daily perpetual inventory counts and annual stock takes.

Delivery Driver & Furniture Installer Cover:

•    Cover for Drivers and Furniture Installers during absences.

•    Deliver products professionally and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.

 
Required Skills & Qualifications:

•    Team-oriented with a flexible approach to daily tasks.

•    High enthusiasm, approachability, and a keenness to learn.

•    Excellent customer service skills.

•    Counterbalance forklift licence (preferred but not essential).

•    Full, clean UK driving license.
