A day in the life of an Remedial Operations Manager will involve:
Management of day-to-day activities  *Ensure the team is fully aware and adhere to health and safety requirements.  To provide data and statistics of accidents, near misses, investigations etc on a weekly H&S call and drive improvement and awareness. To promote and manage safe driving standards, taking relevant action where necessary in accordance with company procedures.

*Effectively plan and manage delivery of services and projects with a fully competent team who hold relevant technical, health and safety and security qualifications as required to meet customer requirements, financial expectations and resource requirements.

*Manage and mentor Service Mangers to ensure that all colleagues fully understand the key performance indicators for the region and drive efficiency and effectiveness through a fully committed and high performing team whilst providing an environment that drives employee engagement in line with company values through clear management communication and effective cascade of information. Identify and support team development including 1-2-1’s, performance reviews and training using both internal and external training providers.

*Review and sign off on all supplier invoices  within stipulated threshold.

*Onboarding and management of supply chain subcontracted to deliver phs  work within service line

*To audit and support the team in achieving high health and safety, quality and technical standards completing engineers’ visits for H&S audits and general site visits

*To carry out disciplinary, grievance procedures and performance improvement plans where required.

P&L Responsibility:
•   To complete all management information accurately and within allocated timescales, attend monthly management meetings with analysis on prior months results and review P&L with Operations Director.  To manage WIP at an acceptable level ensuring work is completed in a timely manner and any issues are rectified quickly.

•   Responsibility for delivering revenue and gross profit targets for fixed wire nationally working with manager and reviewing business area monthly.

•  To liaise with planning team on a weekly basis to review service line order book to ensure efficient and effective use of resource and timely completion of tasks.

•  To ensure you are always resourced at the correct capacity with the correct qualifications and relevant security clearances to meet service delivery deadlines.

Qualifications Required: * IOSH Managing Safely or willingness to achieve 
* Any relevant management and industry qualifications
* ILM level 3 or equivalent
Essential Requirements: *Full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points
*Good computer literacy
*The ability to prioritize workload effectively to ensure core tasks are delivered.
*Excellent technical knowledge of the services provided by the business.
* A motivational leader who inspires teams to drive delivery and high performance.
*The ability to make logical and well thought out decisions.
*Understanding of Health and Safety and its importance in the workplace.
*To be able to communicate effectively and confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels.
