Job Description:

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions and processes within the business. A strong emphasis is placed on people management, and the successful candidate will be a skilled leader who enjoys training, coaching, and collaborating with both their team and the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership & Development
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of finance professionals.
* Provide mentoring, coaching, and ongoing support to enhance team performance and growth.
* Payroll Management
* Prepare payroll for processing by the external payroll provider.
* Financial Accounts & Processes
* Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes.
* Prepare and deliver financial accounts and reports.
* Audit Management
* Establish and monitor internal audit processes, including team training.
* Collate and manage information for external audits, liaising with auditors throughout the process.
* Job Profit Reporting
* Design, implement, and oversee systems for individual job profit reporting.
* Train team members and ensure effective monitoring.
* Financial Analysis & Reporting
* Prepare management accounts and analyse financial performance.
* Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
* Cashflow & Budgeting
* Create and monitor cashflow forecasts and foreign exchange procedures.
* Develop and oversee budgeting processes, ensuring compliance with filing and payment deadlines.
* Financial Modelling & Data Analysis
* Develop financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
