Position: Contracts Manager
Location: Conlbrook, SL3 0HQ
Salary: £40,000pa
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 50 hours per week
About the Role:
As a Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of managing, negotiating, and optimizing contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and driving profitability within Goldstar’s operations while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
*Contract Lifecycle Management: Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts to align with business goals and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
*Operational Oversight: Monitor contracts to ensure compliance with service levels, working time directives, and regulatory standards.
*Customer Liaison: Act as a point of contact for resolving contractual issues and maintaining excellent relationships with clients.
*Performance Monitoring: Track contract performance, analyze key metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
*Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks in contracts, implementing mitigation strategies.
*Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations team to align contractual obligations with day-to-day processes.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Proven experience in contract management, logistics, or a related field.
*Strong knowledge of contractual law and industry-specific regulations.
*Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
*A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
*Strong IT skills and familiarity with compliance or contract management software.
*Experience managing teams and fostering collaboration.
