Job Description:
Quest Search & Selection are partnering with a leading B2B Health-Tech business who partner with some of the largest Healthcare Organisations around the globe to ensure patients, healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical professionals have access to information about medicines. The business is growing from strength to strength, with over 40 million visitors per year to their website.
The role of Account Director- Medtech is to develop relationships with key stakeholders in new and existing target pharmaceutical B2B accounts and showcase the company’s different SaaS, data products and subscription solutions.
The role and responsibilities of this Account Director- SaaS Med-tech -
*Cultivate relationships with key account customers to enhance revenues throughout the Solution portfolio.
*Expand and be involved in New Business and getting new revenue clients on board.
*Cross-sell products to existing clients, lapsed, historical or business unit entity
*Booking discovery calls to understand of each target client’s business, strategy, operations, and industry trends and being curious to attain account-level objectives.
*Regularly engage with key stakeholders, both online and in-person, to establish crucial contacts for the implementation of account plans.
*Generate new subscription or recurring revenue from existing customers to achieve personal & business revenue targets.
*Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to boost product engagement and revenue.
*Ensure, through the customer success team, complete client satisfaction post-sale and the successful integration of the product/service.
*Maintain an accurate record of account plans, opportunities, business development activities within Hubspot (CRM system).
*Proactively propose ’New Product Development & Product extension’ ideas to the broader business, understanding any gaps in the market from your market research.
To be successful in this Account Director- SaaS Med-tech -
*Ideally having 5-6 years + sales experience in pharma, life science med-tech or health-tech environment
*Proven ability to develop client-focused solutions in B2B SaaS, Data, or subscription services.
*Ideally that you are working at a Senior Account Manager, Senior Client Engagement Manager or Director level or above
*That you have experience looking after key accounts (ideally within the large Pharma companies).
*Strong presentation and communication skills.
*Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
*Proficiency in Microsoft office & excel.
*Working in regulated markets is desirable but not essential
*Familiarity with CRM tools such as Hubspot or similar
*Experience working cross-functionally with support functions (Customer Success, Product, IT, Lead generation Marketing).
