Job Description:
Futures are working with a leading manufacturing business who support a range of industries across the UK. Our client has a commitment to innovation and efficiency within their fast paced, state of the art manufacturing facility. Due to a period of continued growth we are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Coordinator to join their well-established team.
As the Health and Safety Coordinator, you will:
• Liaise with management and employees to ensure safe working practices across all operations.
• Support the health and safety manager and their day to day responsibilities
• Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
• Stay updated on relevant legislation and best practices to maintain compliance and continuously improve safety measure
• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
• Deliver training and toolbox talks to employees to promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor and report on health and safety performance, including incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions.
