Job Description:
NXTGEN is excited to be partners with the a UK leader in its industry as they look to recruit and accounts assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company as an Accounts Assistant, reporting directly to the Finance Director. As an Accounts Assistant, you will take on a varied role, supporting the finance team with key responsibilities, including assisting with month-end reporting, you’ll work with a friendly and supportive team, contributing to meaningful work that makes a difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities: *Credit control, ensuring effective debt management.
*Maintain purchase and sales ledgers, including posting invoices and matching receipts.
*Prepare supplier payments in a timely manner.
*Assist the Finance Director with accounts administration tasks.
*Perform daily bank reconciliation’s.
*Respond to general queries, both internally and externally.
*Support month-end reporting processes.
Additional Duties: *Filing and general administrative tasks.
*Managing inbound and outbound telephone calls.
*Responding to emails and directing them to the relevant departments.
*Liaising with other departments within the comp
About You We are looking for someone who is:
*Organised and capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure.
*Confident with a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail.
*Able to provide a high level of customer service.
*Proficient in administrative tasks, with a professional telephone manner.
*A team player but also able to work independently.
*Able to drive due to the rural location of the office.
