Are you a dynamic and driven Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt looking to make a significant impact in a thriving business? We are seeking a Head of Business Excellence to drive continuous improvement across all business areas in a complex multi-site heavy manufacturing business, whilst leading and inspiring a team of Black Belts. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects with a global team, in a supportive work culture that values continuous improvement.
As the Head of Business Excellence, you will ensure continual improvement throughout the business, and the successful delivery of improvement projects.
In this role, you will manage and mentor a team of four Black Belts at varying levels of experience and a Lean Specialist. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team through complex improvement projects, including a major initiative to double production output. You will work across manufacturing, assembly and test, projects, procurement, and logistics, influencing senior leadership and driving change. Your hands-on approach will see you leading from the front, from engaging with teams on the shop floor through to collaborating with finance and procurement and other departments to ensure seamless business improvements are delivered.
We are looking for someone with a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or an experienced Black Belt with a minimum of five years in the field. You should have proven management experience, with a strong background in business improvement. A graduate degree in a suitable discipline is required, and a management qualification is desirable. Most importantly, you should bring real drive and enthusiasm, with the ability to lead by example and make a tangible impact.
This role offers a competitive salary of £75,000 - £80,000, along with a 10% performance-based bonus, a 10% pension contribution, and a private health and dental plan. Additionally, an electric car scheme is set to be released in the near future.
This role offers a unique opportunity to join a company committed to sustainable growth. If you are passionate about driving business excellence and making a significant impact, we want to hear from you.
